今年もお誘いを受け、BOYCOTT RHYTHM MACHINE VERSUS LIVE 2012 に参戦します。
というか本日です。(遅告知すいやせん...)
DJ KENTARO + DJ BAKU vs 芳垣安洋 + 岡部洋一(ROVO)
というセッションで数年前に参加させてもらったこのイベント、
今回はなんと後楽園ホールのリング上でのバトルスタイルでいくそう。写真凄い。
見ての通り、メンツがまず凄い！
今回のお相手はOPEN REEL ENSEMBLE というグループ。
リハも無しの自由な感じのセッションらしいので、楽しめればと思います。

I am performing at BOYCOTT RHYTHM MACHINE VERSUS LIVE 2012 this year again!
Sorry for late notice... It's today.
Few years back, we did a session of
DJ Kentaro + DJ Baku vs Yasuhiro Yoshigaki + Yoichi Okabe(ROVO)
and this year we are doing it on the ring at Korakuen Hall!
It's a battle style! Look at the pic!
As you can see, super dope line up,
no rehearsal, be on the stage and start jamming as we feel like!
I want to enjoy it.
It starts at 700pm today at Korakuen Hall Tokyo.
今月を振り返ると、長野は白馬のスタジオの雪景色から一変、
初のフィリピンに渡ってました。
(長野はネット環境の問題もありアップ出来ずじまい。。)
首都マニラから2時間近くボートで海を渡った小島の中の、
さらにトラックで進んだ山奥で行われた3日間フェス、
Malasimbo FestivalでDJしてきました。
この島の中の森に囲まれた谷って感じの会場がまたいい！
そして、3/11は仙台にて、チャリティーイベント
Hand in HandでDJしてきました。震災から一年という節目でもある日に、
こうやって集まって皆で何かムーブメントを起こしてる
って事実が重要だし、Re-unionしてるって事が良かったです。
今年はとにかく盛り上げましょう！楽しみな年です。
今ついに、てかやっと？アルバム制作が終わるところ。
今作は明らかに自分的な新境地です。
皮切りのファーストシングル"Step In - DJ Kentaro feat. Foreign Beggars"
がフリーで配信になったのも気づかないくらい集中しておった訳ですが、
シングルのほうもたくさんのダウンロード、プロップスを頂き嬉しい
限りっす。DJの皆さんも是非現場でdropしたってください！
Foreign Beggarsとは、何どもヨーロッパのフェスや地元のロンドンで
共演してて、今回やっと実現できたね、と話してた感じのコラボになりました。
改めてForeign Beggarsリスペクト！
ここからセカンドシングル、そしてアルバムドロップまで一気にいきます。

This month, I was at Hakuba Studio in Nagano with tons of snow and
I visited in Philippines for the first time!
(Sorry I had internet problem in Hakuba, couldn't upload my blog..)
It took me about 2hrs from Manila which is capital of Philippines to
this small island, and got on the truck to this mountain side...
It was 3 days festival called Malasimbo Festival, I was there to DJ!
This location was just dope.
And I went to Sendai to DJ at this charity event called Hand in Hand on 11th March.
It has been a year since Tsunami, and it was very important that
we got together and started making a move with everyone.
I am really looking forward to our new year of 2012!
And I am finally finishing my record. It's a whole new world to me!
I had my 1st single out earlier this month,
It was given away as free download.
Thank you very much for all the great feedbacks for the song,
I am super glad!! Please play that tune in clubs and fest!!
Foreign Beggars, we had so many stages together in the past,
I am just glad that we finally did a song together.

ただいまバンコクにいます。
先週末、バンコク最大といわれるルーフトップパーティ、ALTITUDEでDJしてきました。
楽しかった！そしてブログのほうもかなりの久々！
年末からアルバムの制作がピークofピークをむかえてて、なかなかアップできず・・・
あらためて今年もよろしくお願いします！今年はいきまっせ。
今、Ninja Tuneからリリース予定のENTER以来のセカンドアルバムを作ってます。
素晴らしいアーティスト達とのコラボレーションも多々あり。
そしてようやく完成に向かっています。
リリース日も近々アナウンス予定。楽しみに待ってて下さい。

そして日本に帰ってからは長野、東京のスタジオで最後の作業に入ります。
30度のバンコクから、- 5度の長野に突入します。たのしみ〜！笑

I'm in Bangkok right now!
I had a gig last weekend at this big roof top place called ALTITUDE! It was mad fun!
And sorry I hadn't blogged for a while!
I have been super busy finishing my album since last December,
and I couldn't find a moment to write my diary.
How is 2012 treating you? Good? I am so excited for this year!
I have a record that will come out from Ninja Tune soon,
it will be the 2nd album(since my 1st album called ENTER).
Few collaboration songs with awesome artists... They are all dope songs!
It is finally heading to the finishing point.

As soon as I get back to Japan, I will be in both of Nagano Studio
and Tokyo Studio to finish my record.
I am about to depart from 30C Bangkok to -5C Nagano. I can't wait!
